Our firm proudly provided comprehensive mechanical and plumbing design services for the Fresenius Dialysis Center in San Diego, California—a vital 6,000-square-foot healthcare facility dedicated to providing life-sustaining renal care.
This second-generation renovation transformed an existing space into a fully compliant OSHPD-3 chronic dialysis clinic, meeting stringent California healthcare regulations for outpatient treatment environments. Our scope included the design and integration of new high-efficiency rooftop mechanical units with associated ductwork to ensure optimal air quality, temperature control, and energy performance in a patient-centered setting. We also engineered complete domestic hot and cold-water systems, along with sanitary waste and vent piping, prioritizing reliability, hygiene, and infection control essential for dialysis operations.
Through close collaboration with the project architect and the other design partners, we achieved seamless interdisciplinary coordination, resolving spatial constraints, ensuring system integration, and delivering a resilient, code-compliant solution on schedule. This project exemplifies our expertise in healthcare MEP design, where precision, regulatory compliance, and patient safety converge to support Fresenius Kidney Care’s mission of delivering exceptional dialysis services to the San Diego community.
